One of the subjects we studied at school was art history. I remember clearly the classes that were on Cubism, how it evolved and how the artists went from realism painting to cubism (Picasso). One of the artists we studied though was Mondrian and his work really spoke to me, particularly his New York series.
Mondrian is still one of my favorite artists and so when the theme for a group I belong to (Ring A Month) was Your Favorite Artist, I knew I was going to use Mondrian as my inspiration. So here is my tribute to him and his work.
Made from solid sterling silver, the ring is simple in design, the bars are raised and the blocks are recessed and it is polished with a matte finish. It's comfortable to wear despite its large size because it has a band at the back that enables you to bend your fingers with ease.
I've been wearing my ring every day for weeks now and I'm in love with it! You’re sure to get compliments every time you wear it.
Dimensions: 1 3/8" (3.5cm) tall. The design wraps half way around the finger with a 1/8" (3mm) shank around the back of the ring.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to custom make this ring for you.
All of my jewelry comes in a gift box, so it's ready for gift giving to friends or family - or a little treat just for you!
If you have any questions, please email me! I'd love to speak with you!
